Hampton’s 1st XV are today playing at Rugby School for the chance to reach the Champions Trophy final. It’s been a phenomenal effort so far from the team to get to a national semi-final, and they’ve travelled to the Midlands with high hopes of returning with victory. The game will be live-blogged below, with updates from 2pm.
So, the build-up is over, the warm-ups completed and the teams are getting ready to start at Rugby. The victors will face Wellington College at Allianz Park on 4 December after their 24-41 win at Epsom College.
The game is scheduled to begin at 2pm, but Epsom vs Wellington looks like it might overrun, so kick-off may well be delayed. Epsom have launched a strong comeback from 0-26 down, and the game looks well-poised at 19-31 with nine minutes remaining.
