U14A comfortably beat Forrest to continue strong start

By Jago Doherty

After last week’s simple win against Westminster School, Hampton’s U14A team beat Forrest School 5-0 on Saturday.

At fitrst both teams seemed well-matched, with chances coming close at both ends. However, Hampton broke the deadlock 15 minutes in when Jamie Wilson centred the ball for Hayden Christian to finish.

Hampton did not sit back though and 10 minutes later Paddy Harvey got on the end of a perfect cross from Zaki Sadiq-Baig, finishing the move with a shot into the bottom left corner.

After a spell of brilliant play down the right hand side, Christian used his blistering pace to break through the Forrest School defence and neatly tuck the ball away for the third.

Hampton weren’t finished, though, and after chances at either end some magical wing play from Christian set up a chance for Zain Suttewalla, who took his chance emphatically when he placed the ball into the bottom right corner following a beautiful pull back from Christian.

Despite Hampton being 4-0 up, they were still hunting for a fifth, and Toby North delivered just that when he ventured on a wonderful run before taking the ball round the goalkeeper and rolling it into the net for the fifth.
