U12E outclass Halliford in 7-0 win

Hampton’s U12E team produced a brilliant performance to beat Halliford 7-0 at Hanworth Road.
The kick-off whistle blew and Hampton immediately took possession. A brilliant clearance by Arjan Wallia, the team’s centre back, helped the ball into the Halliford half. Hampton’s attackers builtsome fantastic passing before striker Noah Kelly shot to the back of the net making it 1-0 to Hampton.
Though Halliford threatened the goal goal, the U12E team’s fullbacks, Sam Trotman and Harresh Jayanthan, were able to get the ball away from Hampton’s half. After controlling this brilliant clearance, Noel Yonas, a Hampton player, made an attempt on goal but unfortunately an amazing save from the Halliford keeper stopped it.
With spirits up and high hopes the half time whistle blew.
The second half began with a kick-off from Halliford school, and one of their many attackers ran quickly down the wing. The E team captain, Hampton’s midfielder Mikael Nur, tried to get take the ball from Halliford with a spectacular ackle but unfortunately didn’t succeed. The Halliford player then came up against the Hampton keeper, Oliver Dugaric, who defended against the opponent calmly and caught the shot in his hands.
Dugaric kicked the ball up to Hampton’s attackers who immediately took possession of the ball, and ran to the box. Noel Yonas fired a shot at the goal and it flew into the net, furthering the lead
With a spring in their step, Hampton easily tackled the Halliford players and once again passed and communicated as if they were the England men’s football team. Seeming to be the man of the match, Noel once again tried to get the ball into their net and past their keeper. It was now 3-0 to Hampton. However, the E team side knew it was important not to become complacent.
Straight from the opponents kick off, a Hampton striker Peter Cole attacked the Halliford side with such power that he scored again. Not only did Cole score once more but Mikael Nur and Harresh Jayanthan also helped to make it 7-0 to Hampton. After the match, team captain Mikael Nur said: “We played brilliantly against Halilford. if we keep this up then the future looks bright for the U12E team.
