By Omer Olcer
Hampton’s U13B squad travelled to Selhurst Arena to play their second match of the season against the Bishop Thomas Grant School, with the ESFA cup fixture ending in a 11-0 victory for Hampton.
Freddie Tranter whipped an amazing free kick into the top corner just outside the box. Thomas McMonagle kept his cool and scored a powerful penalty into the bottom corner. Nicholas Henebry scored a brace, with both goals from the right flank into the far corner, unsaveable for any ‘keeper. Additionally, Omer Olcer found the back of the net four times.
Sebastian Rautenberg kept a great clean sheet in goal and captain, Dominic Stenning, gave a great performance, controlling the middle of the park. Hampton’s defensive line was ruthless too, led by Daniel Lee and Maurice Rey.
We are very thankful to Bishop Thomas Grant School who hosted a great match and we wish them luck in the future. The U13Bs look forward to the next round of the cup.
