Second half rampage sees U12Ds score 10

By Josh Millington-Jones

It was a thrilling match between Hampton’s U12D team and King’s College School Wimbledon U 12D team last Friday.

KCS scored two excellent goals from through balls in quick succession within the first five minutes, but Hampton did not give up. George Moria got one back with a clinical finish before equalising from another wonderful goal not long after. Just before half-time, KCS scored from a cross to make it 3-2 going into the break.

Half-time came but the Hamptonians still felt they had a fighting chance at snatching the game. Shortly after half time, Hamza Yahie equalised, scoring a great solo goal. Minutes later, Hampton scored again, Josh Gibbins netting a great volley from a cross.

Hampton later extended their lead by six goals, scored by Hamza Yahie (1) George Moria (2) Josh Gibbins (1) and Oscar Midgley-Carver (2).

After a close match, the final whistle blew and the game ended 10-3 to Hampton.
