Harlequins star, Louis Lynagh OH (2019), has been added to the England squad for this weekend’s first Autumn Test match against Tonga.
Lynagh, who excelled as Hampton’s Captain of Rugby in the 2018-19 season, has enjoyed an impressive start to his professional career with two late tries in the Premiership final at Twickenham, enabling Harlequins to win the club’s first Premiership title for nine years. Lynagh was initially part of Eddie Jones’ 45-man training squad which was announced in September.
Lynagh is the son of former Australian fly-half Michael Lynagh, as well as having an Italian mother and a younger brother who plays for Australian provincial side Queensland Reds, so is eligible to play for three national sides.
